La Canada Flintridge, also known as La Canada, is a city in Los Angeles County, California, located in the foothills of the Verdugo Mountains. It is bordered to the north by the Angeles Crest Forest and is divided in half by the 210 freeway, making it a popular destination for commuters. This city's neighborhoods include Meadow Grove, Descanso Gardens, Greenridge Estates, Palm Crest, Paradise Canyon, Flintridge Flats, Flintridge Canyon, Sagebrush, Starlight Crest, Starlight Heights, Galaxy Heights, Summit Crest, Arroyo Summit, Upper Alta Canada, and Valley View. Before it was known as La Canada Flintridge, the area was known as Rancho La Canada and was divided into two communities: La Canada and Flintridge.
