La Cañada Flintridge

Nestled in the foothills of the San Gabriel mountains, La Canada Flintridge is a beautiful place to live and work. La Canada is only twenty minutes from downtown Los Angeles. Incorporated in 1976, It is a small town with a sense of family values. Here you will find shops, restaurants, a community center, movie theater, golf and tennis courts, library and hiking and equestrian trails.

In 1885 La Cañada Unified School District was founded, it is a high achieving K-12 district and consistently ranks the top five percent of California schools. It has grown to have three elementary schools, one middle school and one high school.  Along with these public schools is a number of private schools. There are over a dozen colleges, universities and specialty schools within a 30 mile radius. LCUSD is characterized as forward looking, involved and supportive. Students at all levels consistently score among the top 10% of all California students.
